Douglas Street is back next Sunday, September 25th!
Kicking off with a History Walk @ 12pm from the Pocket Park on Langford Row, in memory of the wonderful Ronnie Herlihy.
From 1pm there will be Circus Performances Pitch’d Circus Arts Festival, Musicians, performance from Joan Denise Moriarty School of Dance at 1.30pm and Story Telling Cork City Libraries as well as the official opening by the Lord Mayor Deirdre Forde.
From 2pm there will be on street Face Painting, Workshops, Music, Kizomba Dancing, Ukeleles, Shandon Ukulele Sessions Pizza Making, Paella, Art Exhibition Performance by Mia Gold, Street Games…
At 3pm we are delighted to once again host “Tell a Tale”, an opportunity for anyone with a connection to the area, to share their memories and stories, in the Literacy Centre (Old Post Office)
Pitch’d Circus Arts Festival will be performing throughout the day and there will be a few surprises too!
