Classes

Ballet

Ballet improves posture, flexibility, alignment and strength. It is the foundation and sets you up for other forms like jazz and contemporary. Ballet gives dancers a solid foundation of technique, and with that strong base, they can dance other styles.
We have ballet classes for children from the age of three years for all levels including adult classes.

Time:

Classes run throught the week. Please contact the studio for the timetable.

Modern Dance

Modern Dance is more than the exploring of different ways to make a shape or learning a series of steps to music; it is a way of moving that uses the body as an instrument of expression and communication. Through dance, students learn teamwork, focus, and improvisational skills.

Time:

Monday - 4:30PM to 5:30PM Saturday - 2:30PM to 3:30PM (Teenagers)

Tap Dace

Many young children that are just starting dance love tap class because of the noise the tap shoes make and that they can listen and respond to the music. This helps with their development because they practice their timing by making the sounds together as a class.

Monday - 5:30PM to 6:30PM

Musical Theatre

Musical theatre is a form of theatrical performance that combines songs, spoken dialogue, acting and dance. The story and emotional content of a musical – humor, pathos, love, anger – are communicated through the words, music, movement and technical aspects of the entertainment as an integrated whole.

Time:

Friday - 4:30PM to 5:30PM Friday - 5:30PM to 6:30PM

Drama Kidz

Learn different aspects of performing arts, especially improvisation, helps young people to understand how to appraise situations, think outside the box and be more confident. This also improves imagination, communications skills and is lots of fun.

Saturday - 10:45AM to 11:30AM

Performance Class

Students have the opportunity to learn many different styles of dance. They can take part in many events such as festivals, parades and charity events. Students must attend a ballet class before they can take part in the performance class.

Saturday - 1:15PM to 2:15PM (Performance 1) Saturday - 3:15PM to 4:15PM (Performance 2) Saturday - 4:15PM to 5:15PM (Performance 3) Saturday - 5:15PM to 6:15PM (Performance 4)
